Military Drama The Hawks Shot in Serbia Gets a Disney+ Premiere
The month of April 2022 brough the big production of highly anticipated military drama Shoorveer (“The Hawks”) to Clockwork Film Production that serviced this very thrilling filming, which was produced by Samar Khan and “Juggernaut Productions” and directed by Kanishk Varma. The story follows the journey of the creation of an elite task force in India consisting of army, navy and air force altogether, as they undergo specialised training to become the nation’s first responder team against national threats.
Shoorveer stars renowned actors Makarand Deshpande and Manish Chaudhari, along with Regina Cassandra, Armaan Ralhan, Aadil Khan, Abhishek Saha, Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Arif Zakaria, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta, and Shivya Pathani, in pivotal roles. It takes a close look at the bonds of teammates, and mentors as they face red alerts challenging the nation’s peace and security. Packed with intense scenes of air combats, land operations and intelligence subterfuges, the show presents the emotions and actions behind the heavily cast doors of the national forces.
The sequences shot in Belgrade were done by significant support of The Serbian Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces with whom our production has a significant cooperation in filming through the years. Even being partly shot in Serbia in these historically specific times, Clockwork Film has managed to provide exceptional production service having been cleared to film within Serbian Army compounds, all due to its long standing reputation in the industry.
The engagement of the army personnel, vehicles and entire fleets brought a challenge and complexity to every production, even so Clockwork Film has been servicing numerous foreign films. Proud to inform, the show will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 15th, which brings another level of the required production service standards.
